Harlem's most famous dance: The Lindy Hop! Come hop AND swing with us to have Harlem Youth during Summer 2025 get a great taste of historic Harlem!
This near 100 year old dance is currently being done all over the world, as far as Mexico, China....even Africa. It is high time OUR children in Harlem specifically have their opportunity to try it out!
The Harlem Swing Dance Society (THSDS) is the premiere non profit organization in Harlem promoting, preserving, propagating and protecting Lindy Hop and Swing Dance Culture which originates from the area.
For Summer 2025 Mondays and Wednesdays are the preferred days to bring the Harlem's Lindy Hop Experience to your students. The ONE Hour program includes history, famous film clips, and a mini dance lesson. Youth will learn a portion of the Harlem Renaissance that is not talked about during their school year - and enjoy it!
